Welcome to Sensible Sanctuary,
I am so very excited about my new home and I have a whole lot of cha! cha! cha! goin’ on. How do you like the new look?
In transferring my posts over from Spiritually Speaking With Jackie, some of the posts came over with paragraphs that are clumped together a bit and others have paragraphs that are spread out too much. I was unable to correct them and I hope it won’t be too distracting for you. All of the posts going forward will be shown in a nice format.
Sensible Sanctuary is a place where we will try to make sense out of faith as it relates to dating, marriage, family, parenting, the workplace, our crazy mixed up emotions, and to us as women. We will also try to hammer out some Biblical truths. We will rest, relax, and share a few laughs along the way.
As you get to know me you will see that I do not have a flowery, lovely, and always appropriate writing style as some Christian bloggers do. I can be somewhat blunt, irreverent, and not very Christiany at times. Sometimes I can even be a little bit bossy…I hope you won’t mind.
Jesus has walked with me through real life experiences for over 40 years when it has not always been flowery and lovely. And through it all He has been faithful, constant, ever-present, and He is as real to me as my husband sitting next to me. To me it makes common sense to follow Jesus and I will try to show you why. He consistently helps me make sense of my everyday nonsense and gives it new meaning and purpose.
Thus – the title of my blog. Sensible Sanctuary.
You will be getting to know my family members so let me introduce them to you.
On the left is my middle son Dylan and his wife Nikki. Next to Nikki is my very tall son in law Greg who is married to my youngest and very tall daughter Taylor. In the middle is my cute husband Eric who I love even more today than when I married him 35 years ago, and then me, of course. Next to me is my daughter in law Ashley, her daughter Payton, son Cooper, and then her husband and my oldest son Steven.
Enough of me! Please poke around, visit often, and stay awhile.
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO Ready To Blog for bringing my vision to life. If you ever need a web/blog designer this is the person to see.
